Embed snippet
The customer embed is a script tag that loads widget.js with the site's widget key. Paste it before the closing body tag.
The widget checks the page origin against the site's allowlist before it shows the launcher or sends chat traffic.
- One widget key per site
- Allowed origins per site
- Anchor app origin also allowed for demo and review
Launch controls
Allowed origins must include the host that loads the messenger. Pause a site to hide the launcher while keeping existing conversations in Inbox.
Install status, launcher behaviour, and visibility settings live in the same operating model as channels and reporting.
